Job: It only takes about a couple of minutes of talking to Zach to realize that he's just a big goofy teddy-bear. He's easily befriended by many, and loves to motivate those around him, even the people he's showing against. He's the type where boosting other's self esteem boosts his own in return. It's very seldom that you will catch him gossiping either, and he always speaks only on what HE has experienced. If he openly says something negative about someone... they had to have done something very wrong to him, for he otherwise keeps quiet about his opinions. He's not uncomfortable in social situations at all either, despite how clumsy, lanky, and awkward he might come across as. Well... two of those things ARE true... especially the clumsy part. It's best to just not trust him with anything fragile. He's the type that can still manage to trip off a trailer with a ramp and sprain his ankle.. (definitely not something I've done... nope...)

History: There isn't much to tell about the beginning of Zach's life. He grew up in Italy where his father was an incredible lawyer, and his mother running her own bakery. When he was about eleven years old, his father took on a new case which brought them to America. Those first couple of years... all was fine and dandy. He never had an issue fitting in, and had great grades throughout the transition. He was a perfect kid by all standards. However, when he was fifteen years old his life took a very different turn. He had met a girl and after a year of dating they finally decided to take it to the 'next level' so to speak. Inexperience and lack of education at school... resulted in the young girl falling pregnant, and Zach becoming a dad-to-be at sixteen.  Blood work was done upon his parents request and it proved he was the father. There were talks of abortion, adoption, but in the end it was decided that Zachary's family would be able to support a child. The girl's family wasn't in the best spot financially and they worried for her future, so he would receive full custody.  After the initial shock of becoming a dad when he had just barely finished going through puberty, he was excited! Babies, heckin' awesome!

9 months later, Emily De Luca was born. The birth went fine, but when the girl held the baby in her arms for the first time... it was all over. Just like that their deal was broken. His girlfriend wanted to keep custody of the child, and she didn't want Zach involved. His own parents, infuriated, agreed that he should not be involved with it all, that it was tarnishing his name and inhibiting his education. As he was ushered from the hospital room, he thought that would be the last time he ever saw Emily.

But eight years later he got the call he never thought he would. Emily's mother was in jail for driving under the influence... with Emily in the back seat. There had also been other reports of child abuse, with CPS involved... the woman had lost her custody of the child. They had barely finished speaking when Zach very quickly said, "yes! I want her!"

And then she was there. There was a knock at the door, he slowly opened it, and confidently the little eight year old skipped her way through the house like she'd lived there for years. The rest from then is...well... history. He took a break from working for a while when his father was battling Leukemia, but he's back and better than ever!
